Job Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the full   spectrum of accounting operation and financial reporting. Reporting to the   CEO, the Finance Manager is expected to establish and implement the proper   financial operations for the company.

Role and Responsibilities: 

· Lead the Finance team in establishing and implementing the right structure and system of recording all financial transactions in accordance with relevant policies and accounting standards. 

· Oversee full set of accounts and all accounting functions of the company.

· Oversee cash flow planning and forecast, debtor and creditor payments, ageing reports and related matters.

· Ensure proper records are kept for Account Receivable, Account Payables and General Ledgers.

· Preparations and timely submission of management accounts and financial statements.

· Preparation of budgets, forecasts, financial analysis, actual vs budget and other finance reports.

· Ensure all accounting activities comply with relevant Acts, Legal and Tax requirements.

· Liaise with external auditors on audit and statutory financial statements.

· Liaise with tax agent on taxation issues pertaining to the Company.

· Liaise with banks and other financial institutions on accounting, treasury, and financial matters.

· Responsible for GST return and related matters.

· Establish control procedures to improve the accounting and reporting system.

· Work closely with HR for payroll-related matters.

· General duties and administrative duties and other assignments as assigned from time to time.

Skills and Qualification

· At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity. 

· Experience in a Finance/FinTech sector is a bonus.

· Degree qualification in Finance / Accounting with CPA/ ACCA membership qualification. 

· Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws and any other compliance requirements.

· Strong organisational skills, attentive to detail with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in a multitasking environment

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

· Proficient in the use of various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.

· Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong leadership, effective team player, highly motivated and able to work independently
